Description
A delicious and classic BLT sandwich made with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, all layered between toasted bread.
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 2 leaves of romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the lettuce leaves on one slice of bread, followed by the tomato slices. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- Place the crispy bacon on top of the tomatoes.
- Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to customize your BLT with additional ingredients like avocado or cheese.
- For a healthier option, use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
