- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 head of cabbage, leaves separated and blanched
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cabbage rolls seam-side down and brown for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar.
- Place the browned cabbage rolls in a baking dish and pour the sauce mixture over the top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the rolls are cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy your delicious beef rolls with cabbage!
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Feel free to add vegetables like carrots or bell peppers to the beef mixture for added flavor and nutrition.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add extra cooking time if baking from frozen.
