Juicy beef patties topped with crispy bacon, tangy BBQ sauce, and melted cheese make this BBQ Bacon Burger the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce and tomato for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.
  4. Place the beef patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.
  5. After flipping, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. During the last minute of cooking, brush BBQ sauce on each burger.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topping with bacon, additional BBQ sauce, and any desired toppings like lettuce and tomato. Serve immediately.
