- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce and tomato for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.
- Place the beef patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.
- After flipping, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, brush BBQ sauce on each burger.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topping with bacon, additional BBQ sauce, and any desired toppings like lettuce and tomato. Serve immediately.
