Description
Tender and flavorful BBQ Baby Back Ribs coated in a rich, smoky barbecue sauce, perfect for any grilling occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional for tanginess)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides.
- Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down and cook for about 2 to 2.5 hours, flipping every 30 minutes for even cooking.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
- If using, mix apple cider vinegar with BBQ sauce for a tangy finish and baste the ribs with it.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
- For a smokier flavor, consider using wood chips on the grill.
- Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your heat preference.
- These ribs can also be cooked in the oven at 275°F for about 3 hours if a grill is not available.
