  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Tender and flavorful BBQ Baby Back Ribs coated in a rich, smoky barbecue sauce, perfect for any grilling occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional for tanginess)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down and cook for about 2 to 2.5 hours, flipping every 30 minutes for even cooking.
  6. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.
  7. If using, mix apple cider vinegar with BBQ sauce for a tangy finish and baste the ribs with it.
  8. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a smokier flavor, consider using wood chips on the grill.
  • Adjust the level of cayenne pepper based on your heat preference.
  • These ribs can also be cooked in the oven at 275°F for about 3 hours if a grill is not available.
