A delicious dessert made with bananas, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and rum, served over vanilla ice cream.

- 4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
- Add the sliced bananas and cook for about 2 minutes, gently stirring to coat the bananas.
- Carefully add the rum to the skillet. If desired, ignite the rum with a long lighter to create a flambé effect (be cautious!). Allow the flames to subside.
- Serve the banana mixture over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
