- 4 mackerel fillets
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a baking dish, arrange the mackerel fillets skin-side down.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic over the fish.
- Layer the lemon slices on top of the mackerel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
