- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 6 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Pickles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ketchup and mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form ground beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet or on the grill, cook burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Add a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, add the cooked patty with melted cheese, top with bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, and any additional condiments you prefer.
- Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.

- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
