- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, coating both sides evenly.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, meaty side up. Cover with another piece of aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
