- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and milk until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until elastic.
- Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into strips, about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long.
- Twist each strip into a figure-eight or bow shape.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the twisted dough pieces in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to prevent the dough from absorbing too much oil.
- You can add vanilla extract to the dough for additional flavor.
