Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice glaze.
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a splash of rice vinegar to the marinade.
  • Adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of the chicken thighs.
