Air Fryer Steaks: 5 Ways to Perfectly Juicy Flavor

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Deliciously juicy and perfectly cooked steaks made in the air fryer, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. This helps to sear the meat better.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
  5. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
  6. Cook the steaks at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust the time according to your preferred doneness.
  7. Once done, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use steaks that are at room temperature before cooking.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the steaks and your desired level of doneness.
  • Use a meat thermometer for precise cooking: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium, and 150°F (65°C) for medium-well.
