Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ground ginger, and black pepper.
- Add chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove drumsticks from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
- Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
