Air Fryer Hamburgers: 5 Juicy Tips for Perfect Flavor

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Juicy, flavorful hamburgers cooked to perfection in the air fryer. Quick and easy, perfect for weeknight dinners or summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
  6. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  7. Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Assemble the hamburgers on buns with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use ground beef with a fat content of around 20%.
  • You can customize the seasoning to your taste by adding your favorite spices.
  • Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer; cook in batches if necessary.
