Description
This homemade air fryer granola is crispy, crunchy, and packed with flavor. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g., raisins, cranberries)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, nuts, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Mix well until all the oats are coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Spread the granola mixture evenly in the air fryer basket. If your air fryer is small, you may need to do this in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the granola from the air fryer and let it cool completely. It will continue to harden as it cools.
- Stir in dried fruit if using, and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
