Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
  3. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat them dry.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  5. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can soak the potatoes longer or double fry them.
