Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the egg to the butter mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on a piece of parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Carefully place the parchment paper with cookies into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
- You can add nuts or other mix-ins to customize your cookies.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket; bake in batches if necessary.
