- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples and cut them in half.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, walnuts or pecans (if using), and vanilla extract.
- Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out centers of the apple halves.
- Place the stuffed apples in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is bubbly.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
