Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core the apples and cut them in half.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, walnuts or pecans (if using), and vanilla extract.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out centers of the apple halves.
  5. Place the stuffed apples in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
