Description
Juicy and delicious air fryer cheeseburgers that are quick and easy to make, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend BBQ.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of cheese (American, cheddar, or your choice)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and other toppings of choice
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Cook the patties for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature is at least 160°F (71°C).
- In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- While the burgers are cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Once done, assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to customize your burger with different spices or toppings.
- You can also use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to your burger.
