Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Grease a 7-inch round cake pan that fits in your air fryer. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Place the cake pan in the air fryer basket and cook at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once done, carefully remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
