Ingredients
Scale
- 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station: place the flour in one shallow dish, beat the eggs in a second dish, and combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
- Dredge each fish fillet first in the flour, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the floured fish into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Finally, coat the fish in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
- Spray both sides of the breaded fish with olive oil spray.
- Place the fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Make sure to pat the fish dry before breading to help the coating stick better.
- Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the fish fillets.
