  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This Air Fryer Breaded Fish recipe is a quick and healthy way to enjoy crispy fish without the guilt. Perfectly seasoned and breaded, this dish is ready in no time and makes for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or your choice)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: place the flour in one shallow dish, beat the eggs in a second dish, and combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
  3. Dredge each fish fillet first in the flour, shaking off the excess.
  4. Dip the floured fish into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Finally, coat the fish in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
  6. Spray both sides of the breaded fish with olive oil spray.
  7. Place the fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Make sure to pat the fish dry before breading to help the coating stick better.
  • Cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the fish fillets.
