Description
These air fryer biscuits are flaky, buttery, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a side to any meal, they come together in no time and cook quickly in the air fryer for a deliciously golden finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and honey (if using) and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
- Using a biscuit cutter or a glass, cut out biscuits and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Cook the biscuits for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- For extra flaky biscuits, make sure your butter is very cold.
- You can add cheese, herbs, or spices to the dough for different flavors.
- Store any leftover biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
