Air Fryer Biscuits: 5 Steps to Flaky Perfection

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These air fryer biscuits are flaky, buttery, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a side to any meal, they come together in no time and cook quickly in the air fryer for a deliciously golden finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Pour in the milk and honey (if using) and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
  5. Using a biscuit cutter or a glass, cut out biscuits and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Cook the biscuits for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For extra flaky biscuits, make sure your butter is very cold.
  • You can add cheese, herbs, or spices to the dough for different flavors.
  • Store any leftover biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
