Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Your favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equally sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the burgers reach your desired doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for medium).
  6. During the last minute of cooking, add cheese if desired, allowing it to melt.
  7. Remove the burgers from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Assemble your burgers on the buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
  • You can also add Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
