- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt.
- Pat the potatoes dry with a paper towel.
- Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the flesh.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Cut a slit in the top of each potato, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
