Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well coated.
  3. Place the seasoned asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 7-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the asparagus is tender and crispy.
  5. If using, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
