- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared mini muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute chocolate chips with other mix-ins like nuts or dried fruits.
- These desserts can be made a day ahead of time and stored in an airtight container.
