Quick hamburger buns you can make at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil and egg to the mixture.
- In another bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape dough into buns and place on a baking sheet.
- Let buns rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Store buns in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for later use.
- Feel free to add sesame seeds on top before baking.
