Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook until heated through.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked rice.
- Let it cool before transferring to freezer-safe containers.
- Label and store in the freezer.
Notes
- Can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Use any vegetables you have on hand.
- Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
