Instructions
- Place corned beef brisket in a large pot.
- Add water, onion, garlic, and pickling spice.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- Add carrots, potatoes, and cabbage to the pot.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Remove meat and let it rest before slicing.
- Serve with vegetables and broth.
