Crispy and delicious air fryer falafel made with chickpeas and spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, flour, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pulse until mixed but not pureed.
  4. Form mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Brush with olive oil.
  6. Place falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
